1920s indie dreams
Holy moly on toast this shoot was a complete and utter dream. I yet again had a beyond amazing team of talented, creative, and hustlin’ boss ladies to collaborate and work with on this project.
The 1920s have always been a huge source of inspiration to me, both growing up and in my creative work today. I was drawn to the allure of the glittering grandeur of the roaring 20s and the seemingly limitless possibilities the tone the era set (hello Great Gatsby, my favorite novel). Going into this shoot with the spirit of 1920s creatives (painters, dancers, writers, artists great and small) and their forward thinking, unorthodox, and bohemian lifestyle was what I aimed to bring to life, celebrate, and capture.
My hope for this beautiful project was to show that a 1920s inspired wedding could be done in a very non-traditional, minimal, and timeless way (with a little edge and boheme thrown in).
Many amazing thanks to my beautiful team that made this stunning dream shoot possible!
